Glad I got off the Pixel train (Nothing 3) -- these prices for these features is trash. Especially on another awful tensor chip which is so terrible for battery/bugs/performance.
I'm really considering getting the Nothing 3. I love how it looks (seems like a lot of people don't lol), I'm really intrigued by Nothing OS, and I've just kind of been bored and underwhelmed by Google and Samsung. How have you liked using it so far yourself? Would you recommend it?
i managed to get my pro 9 xl a year ago for like £500 basically brand new off ebay. This phone will only be even remotely worth considering when its at a similar price. Very few people would pay 800 nevermind 1200 lol.
If anyone thinks any other manufacturers are gonna have less prices this year what with the RAMpocalypse then I think they're in for a rude awakening.
With other manufacturers you get a top-of-the-line chip. Here you get a piece of crap microwave. Doesn't have anything to do with RAM.

A lot of money for a midrange phone. The higher the prices go the harder the Pixel is to justify compared to what it is competing against at the high end. The current Galaxy s26 and the iphone 18 life will kill this thing on soc specs. Even of you won’t feel it regularly, why would you pay the same money for less theoretical performance?
I stopped buying Pixel after the 3A. Far too expensive for mid specs.

Pixel phones are always on discount with big trade-in offers. Nobody ever pays full price for these phones. Its just googles pricing strategy.

It's always the same conversation here. It's crazy how much this subreddit hates choice and cannot imagine others having different preferences. Raw benchmark numbers don't take photos, fit comfortably in one hand, or run clean software. Is phone size your number one? Guess what, a near 7 inch galaxy isn't an option. Do you have kids and pets, and want consistent photos? Imagine paying 1,300 dollars for a phone that can't do that - I'm curious, why would you pay more money for a phone that takes worse photos? Oooooh maybe because gaming matters more to you than taking a photo of your kid in their bedroom at 7pm. How could that be?!?! You're supposed to care what I care about!!!! And let's be honest, "pixel users" don't buy pixels at full price, which you are likely well aware of.
Apple? That's a non starter, not sure why we always bring up apple when we talk about Android phone options.
Wait for Samsung and Apple to drop their new phones, and you'll see that these prices are the new norm for mid-range. I bet the galaxy s27 will be at 1100€.

There's something wrong here. It says the base Pixel 11 has only two cameras, while every render and leaked image shows it has three cameras. So take this info with a grain of salt.

i prefer the pixel watch, but it doesnt work well with the samsung fold.. so hopefully see some good trade in and preorder credits, then id switch to pixel fold
