I'm getting used to my setup with a small 12' aluminum v-haul boat before taking it to Michigan's upper peninsula for pike fishing. I've caught some smaller pike but I've caught a lot other cool species too. Thought I'd share some recent pics.
I've been using a 34lb thrust trolling motor. So far that's been my biggest set back. I don't ever feel like loading up my gas outboard but I wish it had more power. Other than that the biggest thing I've learned the past year is, the less stuff you take on the boat the better, and that took awhile to learn. I still have a fish finder in the box from a year ago because the clutter just isn't worth it on such a small boat.
