What's "편의점에서 조금 것을 살아요" supposed to be?
i intended to say "they bought few things at the convenience store"
so i tried practicing my writing skill by writing a simple short story. is the grammar down below correct? or is there any mistakes?
원우랑 민규는 같이 걸어요. 오늘 날씨가 너무 더워요. 그래서 원우랑 민규가 우산을 사용해요. 원우랑 민규가 배고파서 편의점에 가요.
편의점에서 조금 것을 살아요. 원우는 오헨지 주스와 삼각김밥 살아요. 민규는 딸기 우유와 라면 살아요. 원우랑 민규가 계산해요.
원우랑 민규가 편의점에서 외출해요. 편의점 앞에 의자와 탁자가 있어서 원우랑 민규가 앉아로 가요. 원우랑 민규가 같이 산 음식과 음료를 먹어요.

What's "편의점에서 조금 것을 살아요" supposed to be?

살아요 means "to live." If you want to say "to buy," you should use 사요. Also, in these examples adding "을/를" sounds natural to Koreans.
편의점에서 몇 가지를 사요. 원우는 오렌지 주스와 삼각김밥을 사요. 민규는 딸기 우유와 라면을 사요.
외출하다 is used when someone leaves a place where they normally spend time, like their home or office, to go run an errand or do something outside. It doesn't fit at all for the situation where you're leaving a convenience store after buying something. It would feel kind of like using "memorialize" when you mean to celebrate a friend's fun birthday party. (They're different situations, but what I mean is the word doesn't fit the context it's being used in.)
