My favourite artist is ren personally I think he’s one off if not the most skilled lyricist alive now ik that’s a big claim and slightly biased with my love for his music but if you take the focus off his most popular songs and sway you focus to some off his more upbeat song his word play is amazing he can change tempo in a instant his use off comedy and funny one liners work better then I’ve seen anywhere, money game pt 2, love music pt 4, 1990s , loco , literally every part off the love music series, instigator, what you want, uninvited, it’s alright I can keep going ever song is incredible he’s the best artist alive in my opinion I got a playlist

There’s really something for everyone. No disrespect meant, just also sharing my own opinion because I also feel strongly about Ren, just in the opposite way. I can honestly say he’s my least favorite artist I’ve ever listened to. Something about his schtick is so antithetical to what I like in music.
Guess we are jsut gunna have to agree to disagree agree I guess we jsut work differently but it’s done a lot off styles what music do you like
Ren is like if Jim Carey was a solo musician trying to make everyone feel something on a deeper level by relating through his dysfunction. It's delivered in this over the top way that seemed destined to go viral.
I'm glad you enjoy his music. I don't - to me the music feels pretty obvious and the lyrics are sort of "tiktok poet" (but I want to be clear, that's fine, you don't have to like what I like and vice-versa). I would suggest though, broadening your music horizons a bit. There's a lot of great stuff out there - including great lyrics. When I was younger, I really didn't care for older stuff - it all seemed kind of dry and boring to me. But I learned to listen to it later and realized how much I had been missing. Maybe try some other artists too - a lot of them have a lot to say (Nina Simone, Townes Van Zandt, etc.)
I don't mind him - has some good songs and I liked his stuff with Skinner bros (who I saw this year and were decent live). But people who like him seem to realllllly like him. Not sure if thats exposure to this style or not - or just the topics he touches upon. He feels like he will get big. Makes me think of yungblud for hiphop.
I only recently found him. I like him. I also like his band The big push even though I do not usually like rock. Some reaction videos are better than others in my experience. That is how I found Ren from The charismatic voice. Many go nuts over him. I don't like rap but I like his.
