After curing a zombie villager, and converting him to a cleric, I traded the maximum amount of rotten flesh and leveled up to an apprentice.
The next time I went to trade with him the amount of rotten flesh for an emerald almost doubled!! from 26 to 51!! Why?
Is this normal or just a glitch? And is there any way to get him back down to 26?
Supply and demand. If you trade a single trade option a lot, it will become more expensive for you. It will go down after not trading this trade for a bit.
I didn't know it works like that. Does it make a difference if I have only one cleric vs two or more? And I only maxed it out once, will it do that every time? How long before it goes back down? Thanks for your help!
Did you go trade with him after exiting then re-entering world? Cause im on bedrock and I swear even after I cure the zombie villager when confirming the trade it would be discounted. When id log back the villager had regular prices. I think its a bug.

No. Just went back home to sleep after maxing out his trade right after converting him.

That's how it always worked for me lol. I've converted dozens of villagers and I've never seen this happen before.
I've seen other glitches where their price went to that of a normal villager after resetting his job several times.
But never one that just randomly doubled his price lol. It's funny cus it has the 26 crossed out and says 51 like it's a discount. 😂
