“Here Comes My Girl” - Tom Petty
Great choice!
What song(s) did you and your spouse choose for your wedding?
If you aren’t married, what is your couple’s song or even the anniversary song?
Also, it doesn’t have to be the current relationship.
Maybe you and an ex picked out the perfect song, and it still resonates with you today.
It could also be the song you plan to have when you get married some day in the future.
Let us know what song has been the theme to your wedding / relationship!

In high school our song was "Wouldn't it be nice" by the Beach Boys (entirely outdated, we were in the early 00's). We just eloped last year on our 22nd anniversary and had that play briefly because the photographer was trying to get a dancing pic 😅
I’ll Stand By You. I wanted the original version by The Pretenders, wife wanted the Carrie Underwood version. So we compromised and picked the Carrie Underwood version. The best part is the DJ played some random bootleg version by someone I have never identified. It’s like he got it off Napster or something. I asked him about it and he said it was the Underwood version but as soon as the vocals kicked in while my wife and I were dancing we just looked at each other with confusion. Both saying “this is NOT Carrie Underwood”. Makes for a fun memory. I also did an acoustic version of Ever The Same by Rob Thomas and my wife likes to think of that as our wedding song she says.

At the wedding when the song was played my wife just looked at me a was like what the hell is this? She knew it was Bolero and we had a really good laugh about it.
