I don’t know anything about either pack, but I have had very positive experience with Osprey’s customer support. I used an osprey on the AT and after \~1700 miles the zipper of my hip belt pockets busted out. I emailed Osprey and included some photos of the pocket and some other minor damage and asked if I could get a different model pack(an exos which costed a bit more) as a replacement. The only questions they asked me were what color did I like and what town would I be in in 3-5 days. I prefer lighter DCF packs these days, but I still have that osprey pack and it’s pretty damn comfortable
