Bullish.
We have plenty to share here.
Why water?
That’s been said since the 70s.
A few months ago, DRAM and SSD prices surged.
What impressed me wasn’t the price increase itself. it was the people who saw it coming months in advance.
They seemed to understand supply chains, industry trends, or demand shifts long before the news caught up.
That made me wonder:
What do you think is the next product, material, or commodity that could become difficult to get or dramatically increase in price over the next few years?
More importantly, what signals are you watching?
I’m less interested in lucky guesses and more interested in how experienced people connect the dots before everyone else.

Try buying something a year in advance. I got into micron and sandisk at nothing I got into rolls Royce at 89 cents, it’s now 20$
Damn it! Why didn’t I think of that myself? I’ll just check the old Crystal ball to see what will explode next year.
try buying something a year in advance? no shit sherlock
So what are you buying a year in advance this week?
Gonna be honest GLP-1s Only 12% of Americans are on them at the moment. And with so many fat Americans there’s nowhere for that number to go but up. I know they’re years old and I know it’s kind of a crapshoot as to who will make the next big one. But I’ve been alive 40 years and never seen a product that is as guaranteed to print money as this class of drugs Even if they turn out to be unsafe for some people, the net health benefits from dropping 20-30% of body weight will almost certainly outweigh it
It was pretty much a miracle drug for me. Easiest weight loss of my life
Lilly is working on a more effective GLP-3 formula and getting close to bringing it to market. This new formula is supposed to be more effective regarding weight loss with fewer side effects and not as much loss to muscle mass. They do not plan on discontinuing the current GLP-1 formula , but will more than likely make those more affordable and accessible to the public while GLP-3 will become the premium product. It’s still not clear how insurance companies will navigate this, but I’m assuming you are correct in that the adoption rate will greatly increase due to more availability and Lilly will make a tone of money.
Yeah this is a good one, because the technology is complex and it's difficult to produce at scale This is the key - people often just look at demand, but don't look at supply.
They are also good for so many other things. The VA is now going to prescribe them to Vets with alcohol abuse. Once they get approved for addictions, glp1 drug manufacturers will skyrocket.
Food stocks the boat is already leaving
What kind of food are you talking about ?
Micro-nuclear stocks are at an absurd deal right now. If someone put $100k into it right now, it might be worth 200k in less than a year.
Could you recommend a few to look into please?
Lmao "might be" Thank you for that chuckle. If I had wheels I might be a bike
Sure but you could also have done that more safely by investing Microsoft when it was down around 25%.
So, there's a reason why institutions are able to consistently accumulate these shares before they take off. They're looking at *leading cyclical indicators* and not at the actual earnings reports. The leading cyclical indicators show up before the earnings do. Stuff like decelerating price declines, re-accelerating of pricing and imminent supply shortages in response to capex acceleration. I would tell you to look at trendforce or similar sites and track the price movement of the underlying commodity and highly recommend reading Peter Lynch for more insight into this kind of thing.
Can you recommend some books, thanks.

Quantum technology - the demand for more compute and faster will never end. The tech is there but they haven’t unlocked a way to scale. It’s like investing in the internet when it was still only available at the institutional level. It’s investing in apple before apple.
Quantum is at least 20 years away if not longer.
It's not about scale lmao, it's an actual physics problem no one has been able to solve yet
*Brawndo* It's got what plants crave
It has electrolytes!
But hedge it with water, like from the toilet
What raw source do all these products share? Neodymium-iron-boron and samarium-cobalt are both rare-earth minerals used in magnets. On top of that, we're facing a critical helium shortage and major volatility in neon, krypton, and xenon supplies. All modern technology depends on these raw materials, and we're running out. These stocks/ETF are starting to run hot because Nvidia, Intel, GE, Mitsubishi, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE, Samsung and others have already warned may have stop production because their reserves are running out fast.
How do you invest in all these different raw materials you mentioned? Are there spot etfs or are miners the only way for retail investors to get access? Or something else entirely?
So, whoever is making the next MRI machine that doesn’t involve helium
I mean it's stuff that went through that straight. So fertilizer companies, and other stuff just go and look up what used to pass through the straight.
Every chip maker is frantically building out new capacity. Seems fairly obvious to me that the companies making the lithography equipment they will need to do that are going to be busier than ever, their products perhaps even constrained, for the next few years. ASML, LRCX, AMAT, KLAC.
Do you see packaging in the same way? Looking at AMKR which is a smallish cap that has long term deals with TSMC, Nvidia, Apple.
god please not more AI musings and the next shortage will be independent thought
Sounds like OP wants to look into penny stocks and roll the dice on which one will become NVDA

The problem is buying in at the time... only a few thought of what's coming and bought in... most didn't... the same pattern of behaviour is present today... its human psyche...

I plan to buy SPCX near the bottom. I don’t expect to get it right at bottom, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. I know it is way overvalued right now. I plan to buy next year sometime after all of the IPO release drops. I also expect it to take at least 5-10 years to make me a lot of money. The way Elon has set up his companies to make his other companies cheaper is genius. He is going to have the edge in data centers, space travel, and space mining because he has the reusable rockets. I believe in his vision. Can he fix the government? Hell no. Is he a likable person? Not to me. Will his company make me a lot of money in the future? I think so.
Energy, specifically bay gas and electric/gas utilities. If data centers take off they will consume lots of energy.
"If data centers take off"? There's hundreds of millions of square feet of datacenters in the US today. They've been taking off for decades.

Consumer commodities move on headline inventory cycles, but real structural pricing power lives in high-NA EUV optics and advanced packaging yields. If you're tracking supply chokepoints, look at the yield delta between thermal compression non-conductive film (TC-NCF) at 60% vs mass reflow molded underfill (MR-MUF) at 80% for high-bandwidth memory (HBM3e). When advanced packaging thermal dissipation chokepoints limit silicon throughput, gross margins shift upstream to the physical toolmakers holding proprietary optical numerical aperture patents. That's where physical supply lag actually compounds.
They seemed to understand supply chains, industry trends, or demand shifts long before the news caught up.
The problem isn't understanding the factors, it's trusting you understand the factors enough.
I understand tech and the shenanigans in the industry, I don't trust I understand that shit enough to believe I can win gambling the market.
My bet is still on Bitcoin. Most ppl are still sleeping on what happens when more institutions and governments start buying. Feels like everyone will say “I wish I bought earlier” again… just like every cycle 😅
