It can take a week to get into ketosis. Totally depends on your glycogen stores
Okay so let's say I tried this again for a whole other week. What if the results are the same?
The nearly second week really focusing on my carb intake and I've seen zero increase in my ketones.
31m 5'8 222 lb gym twice a week. Try to walk three times a week

Across my whole week I have averaged 6% carbs, 53% fat and 41% protein
My ketone reading today, Saturday, after waking up and right before eating at 11:30, my ketone value was 0.2. so basically negligible.
In my head I feel like I'm under eating, I'm often still feeling hungry. Snacking on cheese slices, drinking about maybe between 64 to 100oz of water a day (probably should drink more). I learned this week I need to be more careful with my intake of oils, butters, ghee, and mayonnaise For calorie deficit...
But I just don't understand why I'm not reading anything positive on this keto meter

I’m 5’6” started keto at 195lbs in March…15-20 has been my regular daily. I’m now 158lbs and had a few times where I cheated (vacation)
Have your daily calorie intake and carb count's been similar to mine?
I eat about 8-1200 each day
What does that even include? That's Sounds like one meal a day only
What are your goals with keto?
Losing some pounds. I'm aiming for around 1,700 calories a day. I go a little bit above or below that depending on my mood. I'm making sure to not eat any more processed crap. Everything I make has to be my own, cooking every meal, working out about twice a week and walking about twice a week as well. I'm not looking to make progress fast but I'm looking to make progress... + Second week of this and still not much to show
