I've been knitting this dress for the daughter of a friend. First time knitting something like this and I was quite confident about the skirt part. But I'm not really satisfied with the upper part and think it looks messy.
Please give me your honest opinions if you'd give this away (the mother wants to pay me the 50€ ish for the yarn).
Suggestions for Improvement are very welcome, I'm kinda devastated.

Unfortunately the top part is quite uneven. Did you not notice in the process? One the second last picture the right strap is one strip wide and the other is about 1,5 stripes wide and so on. I would open it again and correct it. The skirt part looks fine.
Thank you! I was thinking about changing the pattern of the top because I'm don't like the look of (my) purling in this piece. It just looks sloppy
