One thing that improved my DSA problem-solving

I stopped looking at solutions after 10–15 minutes.

Instead, I started writing down:

• What I know
• What I don't know
• Why my current approach fails

Even if I couldn't solve the problem, I understood the solution much better afterward.

Has anyone else found a similar strategy helpful?
