Curb side pick up for me. Very little interaction.
I live in a legal city. Just like an alcoholic would with liquor stores, I would rotate which dispensaries I bought from, in an attempt to not be faced with just how much product I was buying. I still found the act of buying weed awkward and embarrassing. Will not miss that at all.

I can relate with the embarrassment. It’s not nice being the first customer of the day everyday at opening. I wonder how many regulars the cashiers see.
I liked having a regular dealer and I bought 3 oz a week from them lol
I had 5+ dispensaries within walking distance of me so I would rotate which ones I went to. Thankfully, 2 ended up closing down which limited the places I could go and that really helped me quit because I would get sick of going to the same 3 places all the damn time.
Thanks to my long term recover efforts, I haven’t had this problem in over two years ✌️but I sure can relate. Doesn’t feel good!
I once asked my delivery driver if I bought more then the other regulars and they said no but I think they were just ensuring I didn't stop spending money when them.
No. I managed an underground dispo before it was legal and had unlimited access. Once it was legal, and I was no longer working there, I would find one or two that had what i wanted, and stick with them. The one on my block was where I went the most. I never imagined being judged because the employees usually liked it as much as me. I moved to a country where it is illegal to buy and sell, so that was years ago. I haven't been in a dispo in 6 years.
Anyone only buy an eight or two, no more than a few joints at a time. That way I never knew how much I really consumed. Was in denial I could consume an ounce or more in a short period
