It was 15% a month ago, so 3 points is a significant drop
I guess because its locked to hardware? An old mac from 2010 still running is stuck on OSX but a pc from that year can be on the newest linux kernel.
It's expensive globally, in North American and Europe it's probably over 20%.
I work as contractor and most teams I work with work on Macbooks, so it doesn't surprise me.
It's on 35% of USA desktops.
I think that's actually Safari reporting the OS as being OSX, whereas other browsers generally just say MacOS in the useragent. Presumably Apple did this for reasons of site compatibility.
