I feel like the media is slowly transitioning from shitting on all millennials to doing the exact same thing with gen Z. As long as they can feel better than those whose world they have shaped and are now feeling bad about. I'm not mad about it. I just realised the pattern.

Why pay attention to it? The media companies will be out of business in 25 years. Because us millenials and Gen Z don’t care about news and stuff. Last of the boomers will be gone by then and Gen X doesn’t care about the news companies either. Let karma take care of it. 😁
It's funny how a lot of anti Gen Z stuff is still basically complaining about Millennials 😂 the shit Gen Z are dealing with we are still dealing with, I'm 36, stuck renting and will never own a home or likely be able to retire, had I not moved out with me GF at the time I would probably still be stuck at home, finding another Job feels impossible, only reason I'm still in retail is because I made full time over the course of about 7 years and here I am 19 years later with the same company, my rents relatively cheap because I have been here for 10 or so years but if I had to move I'd be lucky to get a house share.

yup. it goes in circles. i sometimes find myself talking negatively about younger people (i’m only 28 tho), and i always try to nip it in the bud because i love younger people and they are not the sole reason for what makes them uniquely annoying amongst every generation’s annoyingness lol.
Oh yeah it’s for sure a thing to do that finger wagging thing and go “bah, young folks these days” I’m not sure what it is, but I swear everyone does it.
And the older gens used to complain about those damn hippy boomers. It's a time-honored tradition.
My personal favorite was not that long ago still saying millennials as if we are perpetually in our 20s in spite of that fact we are all in our 30s or 40s. It’s all BS.

Well yes. The new working class is older gen z and late millennials. 40s to 18. I usually tell people that work with me that your best years are between 18-35. You should be doing things that give you happiness in your golden years. No health problems, look good still, and can travel. The whole system is messed up. Why would I want to travel and do things when I'm an old person. Every year gets more expensive so today is generally the cheapest than prolonging 10yrs down the line. You have to open your eyes bc not many ppl actually work. You got old, disabled, ppl in between jobs, moms, immigrants, The whole work shaming is a scam bc back in their days you could be a cashier and make a living. Look at some popular TV series Married with children Al Bundy made it being a shoe salesman. The Simpsons Home improvement Everyone loves Raymond Family Matters Rossan The US hustle culture is relatively new and most funds are extracted to the wealthy and old. Obviously the easiest way to fix things is to pay the employees living wages that would support a normal economy. We don't live in that reality sadly. Immagants serve that role.
