In the wise words of Borat “Great Success!” I found reading No New Things really helped keep me focused. Also the excitement of seeing my savings go up was a nice dopamine boost.
Had $70 to spare from my last paycheck. Indulged a little—I went to the movie theater to see The Odyssey, but it’s the first movie I’ve gone to in a year or more, and I really enjoyed it. Worth it to me.
I had 11 spend days this month, a mix of groceries, gas, eating out and supplies for the new puppy. The other 20 days were either no spend at all (10) or cash only from my roughly $300 a month cash budget (10days).
