Going out on a limb here but maybe someone can help me out. Was listening to KKJZ here in SoCal earlier this evening to the Jazz is Dead show. They played a track from a Brazilian group that I’d like to explore more but I can’t remember the name of the track or artist. The only thing that I can remember is they mentioned that the cover of the album featured a picture of Brazilian soccer players. That’s all I have. Any idea as to who this could be??

Can’t help you on the specific album, but Toots Thielemans has 2 Brazil albums that are a great sampler of Brazilian musical royalty.
