love how the arena feels like a clock face torn apart, the red and gray slices give it proper tension
This was a game that I made recently for the GMTK game jam where the theme was " count down "
I've made games which had timers before, so I didn't want to do the same thing again.
So instead I thought about what it would be like if a timer by itself was a bossfight, and ended up with this game after 3 to 4-ish days of work

I also participated in this jam and played your game, wanted you to know that this game was my personal favorite of the jam, really great job!
Thank you for playing :)
You're one of my favorite indie game developers and it's amazing all the small games you publish on itch.io!
One of those rare games of the jam where it was so fun I had to share it (as a git gud challenge to a mate). Brilliant self-contained fun. Respect.
Thank you for playing :) Hope your friend had fun as well lol
What does the red do?
Nothing in particular It's mostly to show how much of the timer has finished
Man, this a pretty good idea. And you can expand it to many different genres as well. Any plans to turn this in a full game?
Honestly speaking, not really. I was pretty quickly running out of ideas for distinct phases while I was making this boss for the jam. Basically I don't have any ideas for this which don't really go beyond the scope of a jam That said, someone did give me the idea of making an rpg or something with this as the battle system. That's an idea that I think I'd like to keep in mind none the less
I recognise the style Glad you are still making games
