I thought there was some interesting discussion going on regarding the area guidebook situation, and it looked like a couple helpful folks were sharing beta from this now rare and out of print guidebook for RMNP.
Why delete the thread?
What’s the purpose of the community if not to request and share resources? To post photos of new climbing gear and share social media posts from sponsored climbers?

Which book?
Generally, any and all of them. Not a single version is currently in print. The post last night was regarding the Gillett version, but even the more recent Rossiter book has become very hard to come by.
Were people sharing photos of pages of the book? Could be a copyright issue.

I didn’t see the thread but if this is in reference to a Rossiter guidebook, I have it and can send pics of pages or anything.
I never saw the original thread, but what exactly was being shared? Totally spitballing here, but could it have been a concern over the extent of fair use and not wanting to facilitate information transfer that could appear to undermine the publisher?
It was the cover as far as I know. Like “does anyone have this book?”
