CMV: I’m 175 cm (5’9”), and I genuinely think it’s the most disadvantaged height in climbing. You’re too short to get the obvious reach advantages of taller climbers, but too tall to get the benefits of being super compact like shorter climbers. You don’t have the wingspan to skip moves, yet you also don’t get the lower weight, tighter body positions, and smaller box that many shorter climbers can take advantage of.

Any recommendations for sport climbing harnesses? I am now rocking Wild Country Mosquito, and although I love it for send gos, it’s quite uncomfortable for projecting all day

  Arcteryx AR-395a, but only get it on sale or from the Outlet store. Too pricy at normal retail price.
