Another data point: 222.7 miles to 1% left with 20" AT tires, 75 degrees F, cliimate set to 72 degrees, even elevation, and did downpour at the every end. Note that with this configuration, the EPA (Rivian provided) range is 307 miles. The highway range is 276 miles. Call it 230 miles of range in ideal conditions Correcting for that, got 2.7 miles per kWh, or 370 Wh/mile. That's 25% off the EPA combined range, and 17% off the EPA highway range. Note that Rivian chooses the correction coefficients, which it then self certifies the results that are then submitted to the EPA. Some people think that the EPA does their own tests (which does happen, but not regularly).

That's insane!! 184 miles is arguably the most meaningful stat and that could drop another 20% in freezing temperatures. Objectively speaking this is a poor showing from Rivian. How were the charge times? 30 min for 400V isn't awful but not great either.

YIKES! My lightning is able to travel farther and it's an even worse brick shape. (Yes I know I has a larger battery)
For the laywo/man that has purchase consideration for a 300+ mile vehicle, this will absolutely dissuade some.
