I know it's frustrating. I used to try to help people get into programs, and it was always "we have a 3-month waitlist" or "we only take people who have lived in this county for a year," etc. And, sometimes, just not hearing back from anyone... Two things are likely: the information from your insurance company is out of date, and/or they are more likely to respond to a voicemail. I have found that lists like that, no matter what it is for, tend to be out of date. I think what you wrote is fine. Personally, I would not embellish beyond that.
