I recommend you to eat more salt and take magnesium tablets.
I haven’t broken out this bad since middle school! I know the obvious solution would be to just chill on the sugary snacks, but it’s literally the only way to beat my alcohol cravings 😔 i am only about a month sober as of now so im sure the cravings will subside at some point soon enough, but ugh does anyone have any advice?? Something else i could eat to help cravings??

Oof. I hear ya. My sugar cravings were insatiable for the first year. They are just now starting to subside. Slightly. I never realized much I love cake and pastries. I'm trying to really cut down because now my cholesterol is taking a hit. I'm sorry I don't have advice on the skin. I just wanted to commiserate. 🙃
I started to drink kombucha and probiotic sodas(poppi).. I also like having fruit(dried or fresh) on hand whenever I get a craving/urge There's also sugar alternatives if you're ok with them. IWNDWYT
My suggestion is to be kind to yourself in early sobriety.
How far into it are you OP? I know for myself the sugar cravings naturally diminished on their own after awhile, usually a few months. I did have to actively work on it and still do though. For early sobriety it’s just about survival though, it’s the lessor evil to drinking so I think some sweets indulgence is fine
