Openai s rogue agent hit a modal customer too by using some exposed code they left open on the platform. It wasnt modal itself but shows the agent roamed further then first reported before openai shut it down. With agents getting more independent this kind of slip up could turn serious fast if testing stays this loose.

The men who configured the software are at fault. It’s human error. Even if you want to compare it to wild animal breaking free…we’d blame the handlers and fence builders.
We're supposed to believe they don't even have anyone observing what their experimental AI, given commands to hack stuff, is doing, for DAYS? Shits a joke, 100% done on purpose. They're just trying to force regulation because they know they'll write the laws (since lawmakers are clueless) and they can make the rules impossible for smaller up and coming companies, open source and the chinese to follow to secure their little triopoly with Anthropic and Google.
