What dead town is *that*? Here in NJ that's not blowing a yield sign, it's keeping up with the flow of traffic. If you don't utilize a gap like that you'll never enter a traffic circle.

Cop is in the wrong, and what are you doing? That was perfectly legal. You don’t have to stop at yield signs. You do have to “slow down,” but not by any specified amount. The physical geometry of a roundabout will force you to slow down (unless you do a Dukes of Hazzard jump over the center point). Ohio Rev. Code § 4511.43(B): The driver of a vehicle or trackless trolley approaching a yield sign shall slow down to a speed reasonable for the existing conditions and, if required for safety to stop, shall stop…

Imma say it's the speed they're going, rather than blowing a sign. yield means yield to oncoming traffic, which they technically did since it's only you, and you weren't going fast enough to count as an obstacle to their entrance (I'm guessing truck drivers motives). Yield only ever means stop when you're forced to stop for someone else

Maybe he was just speeding before entering the roundabout, because he didn’t need to yield as there was plenty of room between the cam car and himself.

What are you on about? You can't "blow a yield sign." Other car had plenty of space to get into the roundabout and merged appropriately. You were not close enough that they had to yield to you. They might have been speeding and got lit up by the cop, but that looked like a completely normal and correct way to enter a roundabout to me.
