If the area market is hot, could you board the dogs each Friday-Sunday, when most showing will happen? Can you work from another location and take dogs to daycare the first week or two? I totally get the frustration. I worked from home and had 4 dogs and 2 cats. Ran home from work, grabbed the dogs and sat in my car across the street during the showings. It was a hot market too at that time so it contracted in just days. I've done the "move into new house then sell current house" thing too. Definitely less stressful but you have to be confident your current house will sell. Good luck!
Thank you. I can board, no problem, but can’t move work offsite unfortunately. Maybe could do Sunday showings or something but it would be extremely limited. My last house we sold after the move and it sat for a year before it sold in a slow market area. It was also at a lot lower price point and interest rate. This area I am in and the area I want to buy are both hot markets.
