hello my friend is currently on military school, no phones allowed and stuff like that. We can bring him books on his ceremony this Saturday. I was wondering what books would you recommend?
Trying to give him a thoughtful book that can help him in his journey or maybe just to at least help us remind him that we’re always by his side.

goggins is intense, if your friend's already getting yelled at all day maybe throw in something lighter too. the alchemist is short and easy to digest, feels like a hug in book form. reminds you the universe has your back

Historical for sure. Any memoirs from the band of brothers, helmet for my pillow, hacksaw ridge, with the old breed
