Getting old can suck, and losing weight changes our bodies in ways we cannot predict. This isn’t a keto thing, you honestly can’t do anything about it since it is genetics and age and all that fun stuff.
I was 141 lbs a week ago, and now 135. Not a big deal, right? Most of it was water. Well, Every month I do a 3 day fast; I started keto on the 23rd and the 3 day fast ended yesterday. I'm only 36 years old and woke up to turkey neck yesterday. Anyone else?! It isnt going away and I honestly felt like I did not have much weight to lose, I always start keto when I start to get into the 140s, and lose until I'm in the mid 120s, I maintain for a little while until I don't, then start keto again. Has anyone gone through this and it went away? Or what can I do?

I find that when i do any diet or keto i think that i can start to eat whatever i want and not exercise which isnt true. I’m young but i am constantly trying to lose weight and it’s not fun. My hope for this time i lose the weight and put in some carbs and slowly increase. I think I’ll maintain a lower carb diet but not keto after, only because i have issues with portion control and feeling hungry after a meal. I’d say track what you eat daily and keep up with consistent exercise. Doesn’t always have to be lifting weights everyday even though it’s good for you, but i worry myself sick if i don’t lift at least 3 days a week so now i do it when i feel i have the energy and don’t pressure myself. I hope i understood your post clearly and that what i said makes sense! Lol
My first sentence didn’t make sense basically after i lose the weight i go back to old bad habits
I used keto to lose weight. For maintaining weight, I do 1 carb day followed by 3-4 keto diet days. I'm probably not in ketosis, but my main goal is to maintain my weight, and keep GERD away.
I think mine is going away some. Elasticity is a function of time, age and genetics.
Did you do anything in particular? I have been massaging mine with castor oil mixed with retinol. Im about to use my red light as well. I read facial exercises don't do much, but would love to hear others experience.
Same! I’m 5 week in and noticing a turkey neck 😩 I’m doing Anastasia beauty fascia exercises, mewing, lymphatic exercises and basically anything I can find on YouTube. Best of luck 🤞🏼
Did you buy those little jade/ rose quartz rolling things for it? How long have you done it? Please update me! Im on day 2 of turkey neck and just massaging with castor oil and retinol. I also just bought Hyaluronic Acid that will be here today. I need it gone, I am so self conscious about it.
As everyone said here, the elasticity of skin is a function of time and genetics. But I'll add that you can make things harder by lifestyle, and gaining then losing 20 to 25 pounds over and over again doesn't help. Think of constantly stretching a rubber band. It's going stay that way after a while. I'd make sure to be very hydrated, as always with keto. And try whatever products or treatments you think may help. But if you maintain your weight loss for a year or two without the skin returning to normal, you may wish to consult a plastic surgeon. I'm older than you are and lost 60 pounds. Am I ever getting back the body and skin I had 60 pounds and 20 years ago? Nope. But I'm ok with that because I feel better.
You are absolutely correct about gaining and losing, my biggest issue is the holiday season. Christmas is right after Thanksgiving, ao I usually dont go back into keto and from then on i dont get back on until about may when I can clearly see I am gaining. Its so hard to be the only one doing it since I have teens and a husband, but I literally feel my absolute best on it and if I had the self discipline, I would never get off. Good job on hitting 60 and being healthier! Those are amazing goals to accomplish!!!
Omg I’m 31 and now terrified I’m getting it too 😭
