'Challenger' streamer Baus getting destroyed in lane every game, macro looking like a bronze player in 2013. Master Shaco main with ten thousand+ Shaco games Shaclone dying to jungle camps 2 games in a row.
So much for the 'modern players are so much better these days.' These people genuinely are barely above the level of silvers in Season 3. If they were transported back in time, they'd probably int in a lobby full of silvers. It really shows you how braindead, easy, and hand-holdy Riot has made the game over the years. About the only people that seem to get it are Pobelter, Imaqtpie, and a few others, not surprising since they played the game back then.
Classic is really an ego-check for modern League players. You're garbage. The game has removed any strategy over the years. You can freeze a lane slightly better than the average random back in the day, congrats, that's about the only strategic gameplay left.
Classic League is like a lake that's infinitely deep. Modern League is like an ocean that's ankle-level deep.
TLDR: Classic League takes more skill and has way more game knowledge expression than retail League.

Which ocean?
as much as it's fun to watch high elo people struggle, you have to keep in mind that they likely don't know shit about what works how. It's basically a whole new iteration of league for them. A more proper way to look at it would be to take modern league players and put them in classic _for a prolonged amount of time_ to see how they perform. I also disagree that classic league is deeper than modern. I think classic league is more simplified. But your actions (especially in lane, and laning is prolonged compared to modern) hold a lot more weight in classic. So its really easy to shit on players who don't know how classic laning works.
I watched Baus playing it for a bit and what actually happened was he was bored OUT OF HIS MIND running it down for a crumb of dopamine then still winning games after 0/11 lanes. It really is a attention span check and many people are not interested in every single game going over 40 minutes
wtf this reads like he has severe adhd or just plain rtardation
I cringed reading this.
don’t look at OP’s post history
room temperature iq take
In degree Celsius?
how do u even go about watching shaclone these days. genuinely one of the worse people to be watching and ure seeking out his content intentionally?XD
What a shitty post it's practically a new gamemode that people haven't played for 10 years of course there is a learning curve for something brand new
Brother here trying to ragebait, any high elo player would beat you up in a glimpse if you give them enough time to adapt to old circumstances and playstyles. Classic League has literally 3 mechanics you have to learn to hit Legend and the rest is teamplay and macro, meaning to know when to be where.
Posts like these should have an opgg attached or bannable if the OP refuses to
What elo are you considering modern league is extremely easy with no strategy?
If they spent 10% the time they have on current league into league classic they would still dominate it and be miles better than you lmao
people who played the game when it was like this and are therefore not having to relearn everything are doing better than people who have zero experience on this patch whatsoever??? SHOCKING
I have won pretty much every top lane just by getting my opponent to fight in minions. I don't know if minions actually hurt more or if it is because of the lower health pool but people don't seem to understand the damage those little guys can do.
i really dont understand how 50 point and click spells and stuns is supposed to be fun. I dont mind having 40minute games, in fact its the very best part of league. But in classic the games don't last that long because the silver casuals are so good at macro, but simply because clearing wave is way too easy and movemnt speed is not fast enough to apply pressure quickly.
1/10 ragebait. Atleast make it less obvious
Such a long tirade just to say something so dumb, I love classic and I don't enjoy retail, but a bunch of platinum/emerald players today would shitstomp the early world champs with a month of practice Recent players are struggling because classic has different mechanics, especially around creep damage, wave speeds etc, it's just a knowledge check, not a skill check
Lmao no. Plat players are legit dogshit and have no clue about what is even going on inside the game they are playing. I really struggle to understand why you think they would stomp world champs. Maybe in like s1, but by s2 and s3 world champs already were way better than emeralds now. A big reality is that many things in the game are just easier to execute now compared to before. Lanestates are easier to manipulate, jungle is braindead to clear, champions have more ways of escaping bad situations. Comeback mechanics are stronger. Reality is people in plat rn now unless they are climbing decently still are either casual or unable to learn basic fundamentals. Put them in older league and they will still be unable to learn basic fundamentals. That's how simple it really is. Yes, people are better now relative to rank, but lets not pretend plat players would be gods.
I knew I recognized this name, dude has 3 other posts about baus in past couple days lol
You must struggle every minute with the tall task of breathing.
I played against Cody Sun last night. His Tristana was terrifying. We only barely won.
All it shows is that it's a completely different game and they're not used to the game.
this is not the brilliant take you think it is
I'm always sad that people that post this are around my age. It makes me lose my faith in humanity each and every day. Like this could be the guy that's working on your car at the mechanics or someone in your company that has to draw up projections.
'Challenger' streamer Baus getting destroyed in lane every game
*master streamer Baus.
Baus-est steamer to ever Baus, TheBausffs.
2 examples of people who regularly int in modern and never played classic in the first place is nothing more than an anecdote. Especially since you're comparing modern players vs other modern players...
Either you put a good bait or you have no knowledges of league
Wow the people who immediately played well are the people who got to play it early or didn't play after they introduced changes you are very intelligent
Nice bait mate
