Morocco does not respect borders. Spainish govt doesn't take it's border to Morocco seriously enough. Spain cannot fix Morocco's poor attitude, so it take it's borders more seriously and enforce them. If you cannot enforce your own border, how can you expect them to take it seriously Morocco should be issued a yellow card warning for hosting next world cup by FIFA for poor attitudes. Hit them where it hurts, money.
There's a strip of water between Morocco and Ceuta. Hard to believes there's actually a way to stop thousands crossing if Morocco organises it. Morocco needs to be sanctioned.
It looks like the Spanish system works just fine. Tha EU have also been quite quick to respond to this well-orchestrated attack on both. I feel bad for the poor migration who were used as a weapon in this blatant act of hybrid warfare, and for the loval citizens. I hope we'll get a definitive answer to who launched the attack.
