Hello guys, this is my first of many upcoming posts here. I recently grew the urge to learn the Russian language given its unique and intriguing culture/linguistic style. I wanted to start with learning to write the language, especially in the cursive handwriting style since that seems to be the proper way(on paper). Lmk how it is, and if you have anything to help me start off with I would be really grateful.
My goal is primarily to write-->read(kinda going with writing though)-->speaking-->then anything to help me pass this point would be appreciated 🙏

Иголка has о and you never connect o from the bottom in cursuve cuz it starts to look like an a. Also you missed р in Арбуз Абуз 🥹
Мягкий знак ь is literally like this. Its short the top bit is stright and the bottom bit is round. When you write л make sure to include the preliminary tiny bump and never go into the the main shape without it cuz it looks like a mistake and becomes quite unreadable. Also Жираф, you wrong fat in the checkmark one.
Всю жизнь соединяла "о" внизу. Верхнее соединение увидела только в прошлом году у младшей дочки в прописях, и очень удивилась.

Huh?.. you can and sometimes you have to connect о with lower connection in Russian cursive. the only thing is, if you don't know how to do it correct, you're going to screw up all the time

Letter "i"? There is no "i" in Russian.
This connection is for "ал". So, you've written ""игалка".
Soft sign is same talk as other small letters. It's line should be straight, not curved.

Instead of guessing which connection is correct you can just google прописи and learn everything you need to know about russian cursive handwriting.
Check this for о/в/б/ф and ь/ъ/ы https://www.reddit.com/r/russian/s/1JBsHMlbNT "н" is usually written in a single stroke starting from the top: https://www.reddit.com/r/russian/s/NKMFEtxcLa ь should be the same size as other lowercase letters. The only tall lowercase letters are в and б

"л" _always_ starts with that little downstroke. You can't connect from the left straight into the upstroke. In some words you've included this downstroke, in others you've skipped it.
