So about a month and a half ago I got diagnosed with ADHD-PI. My doctor said he would prescribe me Ritalin 10 mg IR, since Ritalin worked for my brother, who also has ADHD. Anyway, a few days later I got the prescription, but it was ER instead of IR. I sent him an email about this, but still continued to take them as prescribed. They didn't really do much for me. A couple days ago, tho, I got prescribed the 10 mg IR, and brother that works sooooooo much better. I can read several pages of my textbooks in one sitting and then remember what I read afterward. I've also been able to do things that I've meant to do for weeks/months without having to convince myself that I do, in fact, want to do the thing that I want to do. I did get mild headaches the first time or two, but those have pretty much worn off now. That's all, I'm just happy my meds work :)
