Hi everyone! I’ll be travelling around China in about 10 days and I have a few questions I’d really appreciate some help with.
Transportations:
Lanzhou → Xiahe
I’ve read that there are buses departing in the morning from Lanzhou South Bus Station to Xiahe. Is it true?
Xiahe → Langmusi
From what I understand, there is no direct bus from Xiahe to Langmusi, and the usual option is to travel via Hezuo.
Is it realistically possible to do this journey in one day (if I leave Xiahe very early in the morning)?
Langmusi → Chengdu
I’ve also read that there is no direct bus from Langmusi to Chengdu, but that there are buses Is from Zoige/Ruoergai to Chengdu. (I perfectly know about the long distance). Is this correct?
Does anyone know where I can check bus scheduled departures?
Crowds:
Should we expect troubles in finding available buses because of summer crowds?
Mogao caves, Dunhuang: Tried to book tickets through trip.com but there doesn’t seem to be any availability. Do you think Is there any chance to go there early in the morning and buy tickets directly at the site?
