That looks like pretty severe damage I wouldn't trust a repair on it imo
Penn battle 2 2000. Can I fix this with epoxy, can it be professionally repaired, or should I just throw it away? Not sure how it happened.

Check out the parts diagram and see if you can order a replacement. Contact Penn and they may be able to help you out.
Yes it can be fixed with replacement parts on penn website
Will do. Thanks!
No, you can buy the entire part but you can fix the part by itself.
You’ll need that whole piece. Might be more $$ than a replacement.
Sorry but that‘s …, Total loss
Unless there's sentimental value on it, I'd just toss it and get a new one.
Need to get a replacement rotor and install it.
Since the reel is older I would buy a new one. Then you can use the older one for parts if ever needed
This is the way
No
A Penn battle on a Presso is an interesting combo. That’s way too much reel for that delicate of a rod. Maybe time to thank this reel for its service and get something new and more suitable?
I didn’t even notice that lol
Thanks for the feedback. What size of reel would you recommend?
I dunno I think a 2k size is aight. Esp if it's a longer model.
Replace the part, check around for used reels for parts
Penns actually have parts available. https://www.mysticparts.com/PennParts/PennBTLII2000.aspx
Yes contact Kevin at young’s tackle
Just get a new replacement bail

Jokes aside, you can probably get a new bail assembly and whatever other parts you need, but unless it’s a sentimental reel to you I’d feel better about just getting a new one
