Good thing there was so much garbage to put out the fire
Was that a Frisbee?
If this happens it's also a good idea to call emergency services so they know of it. Fores can rekindle themselves without enough water

Looks like they did. One called ES, the other started fighting the spread. When the second one appears in the video, there are sirens in the background.
Honestly it almost looks fake. Bikers fake their videos all the time, for some magic reason there's ALWAYS something happening whereever they go. Meanwhile I remember sitting in my mums car as a kid and there wasn't even 1 thing that happened per year, and she drove for like 40min+ on average everyday. I mean what are the odds of not just driving past a just started fire, and finding a random piece of trash perfect for wiping out fire, as well as the fire being exactly where the grass is so short it isn't climbing fast. I could be entirely wrong, and they're great people. I'm just skeptical
Call 911? And then work to put it out.
Naaqh it really wasn't that big. Seemingly large area, but tiny tiny flame front. They saved tons of taxpayer money and peoples time-no road closings, at the very least.
What makes you think they didnt?
Who knows how much property and environmental damage these fellows averted.
For real, these small fires are how wildfires start.
See a fire, beat a fire
Thank you!!!!
This is how my colonists in Rimworld put fires out.
Now I have to google rimworld and I’m scared. The possibilities Google can bring me are endless. Lawd help me as I put “Rim” 👀 <gulp> “world” in my search.
First thing I thought of too 😂
Fucking heroes
that bear was right.
Always choose the bear.
Wonder if someone threw a cigarette butt out of their car.
Very likely. People aren't very considerate
Ex-Forest Service here. Roadside fires are most often started by one of two things: cigarettes and dragging trailer chains. Only fire in one spot is likely a cigarette. If you see a little spot fire, then another one, then another one, odds are someone doesn't know how to properly use trailer chains and they're sparking as they drive down the road. Occasionally, someone will pull over off the pavement with a hot engine and then drive away not realizing that the heat got one little piece of grass smoldering which quickly turns into a full on fire. No matter what, even if you think you put it out, call the fire department or the nearest land management office (USFS, BLM, etc). Fires often reignite in hot dry climates and the professionals need to be able to go check it.
He curses very politely in turkish to people throwing cigarattes, so yes :)
Yeah, the cyclist is turkish and swearing at the butt thrower the whole time.
Plot twist. They started it, and then came back.
Talk about on sight. They took fire fighting quite literally.
\[everyone liked that\]
Would have been dope if a wild animal came up and gave an approving nod
User name checks out
Needs to be a bear. Named Smoky.
When in doubt.. beat it out.

Those look like a lot of tree of heaven sprouts. maybe someone thought they could burn them away.
Bad fire! Bad fire!
I’m no electrician so I’m sure I’m using the wrong terms here but one time I was driving home from work and witnessed what appeared to be a large fuse explode and fall to the ground. Then there was arc between the end points of the fuse holder. But the fuse that fell landed on the adjacent houses lawn and started a small grass fire like this one. I stopped my truck and ensured it was no longer arcing up top and just poured water all over the lawn and managed to stop the fire from spreading a bit. Around the same time folks were coming outside to check what happened as I’m assuming their power went out when it happened. And wouldn’t you know it they all started blaming me for breaking it.
Yup. No good deed goes unpunished. This is one reason why it's good to have a dash cam - probably would've had footage of at least the start of that, even if not the whole thing.
Not sure if that's brave or stupid considering how fast brushfires can spread if the wind changes, but good job.
Thank you!!!!! ❤️

Depends where it was…a little spot fire can be good for the vegetation if it’s in an area where the risk of spreading is minimal.
Heros
My boy needs to hit the elliptical a couples times a week. Excellent work though
Police arrived and put you in jail for firing
All in a day’s work for the Flame Spankers!
Good job dudes! Thanks for being good humans.
This could and might have saved tens or hundreds of houses and lives. Fucking A man
Please tell me they call the fire brigade also!!!!!
German firefighters also do that with small fires on fields and in forests. It is called "Feuerpatsche" (Looks a bit like a rake) and due to difficult water supply in those areas it helps them to put out these small fires with the limited amount of water their trucks carry
Guess I should carry a fire paddle in my car.
Well done, lads. My only fear is that knowing the popularity of showing good deeds in social media triggers a spate of fake good deeds. We’ve seen it in so many areas like animal rescue.
Beat that fire right into submission.
One less fire to worry about. This is nice
Hell yea brother
That’s taking “You can prevent wildfires” slogan to a new level.
Have we just stopped using ‘of’ after ‘couple’ now?
It's the septic version of English, like "could of", which is totally incorrect. As a teacher, it pains me.
*and then the Police arrived and promptly arrested both for arson.* 😇
We had a fire right next to our house the other day and the only reason we’re still here is because a kind motorist stopped and started banging on our door to notify us. Bless that man and his whole family.
Why not close the visor on your helmet?
Hero
'Bad fire, bad bad bad!! Out with you!!'
