Hello I got a bunny out of nowhere, two days now I don’t know his exact age too and I didn’t really have much for it, I did get the previous owners house for the bunny but he always seem to want to get out when we put him inside (it’s a bar cage genuinely don’t think it’s big enough), so for now he is just free roaming my room and he mostly love staying under my bed, I want to buy him bunny stuff but I just don’t know which to trust in Amazon, or which to get. A lot of people seem to have different opinion and I’m getting confused. So in short my questions are
- what type of enrichment should I buy my bunny?
-what type of house should I buy?
-is free roaming inside my room alright?
-how do I make him not scared of me what worked for you?
- if I buy houses and such for him but he still prefer under my bed, can I just make under my bed comfortable for him?
Do they really bite a lot of cables? I have a setup so I’m getting scared
And lastly is it ok to leave him for 8 hours?
Yes, cages are always too small for rabbits. Many rabbit owners use a puppy x pen to keep them safe when not home as many rabbita love to chew electrical cords, baseboatds, furniture, etc. Some will let thwir rabbita free roam when not home but you have to bunny proof the space they will be in. Free roaming is great If the room is bunny proofed.
