I've noticed over the past few years that I'm often able to spot games that are genuinely worth buying before they're released. On the other hand, several of my friends still end up buying games they regret after just a few hours, even when we've talked about the warning signs beforehand.
I'm definitely not claiming to know everything, and I'm sure I get things wrong sometimes. But after nearly 30 years of gaming, following industry news, and analyzing upcoming releases, I've developed a pretty good instinct.
That's what motivated me to start making videos. Not to tell people what they're allowed to like, but to help those who don't have the time to keep up with gaming news make better purchasing decisions and avoid spending €60–80 on a disappointment.
I'd like to be a sort of consumer watchdog for gamers' wallets while also shining a light on hidden gems that deserve more attention.
The problem is... it hasn't really taken off.
So I'm genuinely wondering: is the concept itself no longer appealing, am I simply doing it the wrong way, or do people just not need this kind of content anymore?
I'm open to any feedback, whether it's positive or brutally honest.
