I make mine vague enough that I can claim it's what we're doing and then keep it up all year. Admin doesn't know the standards by heart for every subject. And it's a waste of time, which I just never have enough of.
This is part of the reason people say teachers don't deserve more money, lol
Exactly. I change mine every 4 weeks (the length of the unit). But not one admin knows what is was or going to be. If I didn't change it, they really wouldn't know.
Yup, I used the same generic wording and would change a word or two after admin came in my room (which happened maybe once a year). Admin doesn't understand what you're teaching so they have no idea if the learning target matches that day's lesson. As long as they see the educationally correct words (parrot something from the start of the year PD), you're golden.
