Why does identifying the Narrator matter?
Often books will be recorded with different narrators for different regions (ie. Harry Potter was read by both Jim Dale and Stephen Fry) or produced by different publishers (ie... Elizabeth Moon's books were produced by both Graphic Audio and Tantor). It is extremely helpful to other listeners to know what version you are sharing to avoid confusion.

Overdrive, Audible, Downpour, Librivox, etc... It doesn't matter the source, as long as the Author, Title and Narrator are easily identified.

One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle. An interesting change from several Ann Patchett books, The Calamity Club, Yesteryear, Atmosphere and Mad Mabel which I listened to through the past few weeks. I am almost done and kind of enjoying it!
Finished Operation Bounce House by Matt Dinnamen . Narrated by Travis Baldree and Jeff Hays. I enjoyed it as a one-off. Definitely reminded me of something like a Love, Death + Robots episode. I also finished Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker. Narrated by Natalie Naudus. I was expecting a bit more horror, but it was a pleasant experience overall.

Dolly All The Time, Annabel Monaghan, narrated by Julia Whelan. Listened on Libro FM. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Finished it in 24 hours. Incredible job narrating. Just started Whistler, Ann Patchett, narrated by Ann Patchett. So far it’s very engaging!
A Death in Cornwall by Daniel Silva Silva's choice to keep Allon's Israeli background at arm's length might say something about where we are right now—the complicated global conversation around Israel and how it's perceived worldwide. While I do find the art world's business and criminal activity interesting, I am not sure it is enough to continue a series. It is my love of the characters that keep me coming back.
Red Devils by Mark Urban (read by the author) It’s a history of the formation and activities of the British Parachute Regiment in WW2.

For the third time, I finished The Myth of Normal by Gabor Maté. His son, Daniel co-wrote it AND narrates it!

The Life Impossible (?) Matt Haig. Plus I finished off the third book or Expedition Force (Paradise) Craig Alanson. Both very very good.
Started the week catching up to the Pale Audiobook written by John C McCrae/Wildbow. It’s a fan project so there are kind of too many readers to name. Now I’m debating how to proceed, if I want to wait out the project, read it myself or use some text to speech program. This gets especially hard since I know I’m coming up on a crazy part of the story.
Now I’m binging the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire, read by Mary Robinette Kowal. Five books deep and I’m having a great time.
I'm listening to Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, narrated by Cathleen McCarron. It is a great listen, would highly recommend.
The Defense by Steve Cavanagh. It wasn’t bad but it was far fetched.
The Eddie Flynn books are some of my favorites - the characters are great. I agree, the plot in this one was a little bit 'out there' but I have plowed through the rest in the series, and Eddie doesn't disappoint.
I listened to Educated by Tara Westover, narrated by Julia Whelan. It was fascinating and mad and a good listen. I am now listening to The Wedding People by Alison Epach, narrated by Helen Laser. I had seen it recommended alot but didn't think it was for me. I needed an audiobook quickly and it was available so I thought I would give it a chance and I am quite enjoying it.
I am also listening to The Wedding People right now, and also enjoying it more than I thought I would.
In the Days of My Youth, I Was Told What it Means to Be a Man by Tom Junod. Incredibly moving and well written.

Joan Didion, Slouching Towards Bethlehem, read by Maya Hawke. Extraordinary writing, very well read plus timeless and timely stories.
Read John McPhee's *Tabula Rasa, Volume 1* (greatly enjoyed) narrated by the wonderful Grover Gardner. McPhee never fails to entertain, and I always learn something new. Then I started *Blacklisted by History: The untold story of Senator Joe McCarthy and his fight against America's Enemies* by M. Stanton Evans, narrated by Tom Weiner. I'm about 5 hours in, it's been pretty dry so far. I guess you could say the author is a McCarthy apologist; not sure how much more time I will devote to this one - not because I don't think the author is right or wrong, but because the writing is so dry. I have too many other books on my TBR to waste time on something I'm not enjoying...
The terror! Really good historical fiction/horror. The narrator is a bit dramatic but his different voices are great.

I just finished it last night, really enjoyed.
I'm listening to Fantasticland, by Mike Bockoven. The book is a series of interviews, so there are different narrators for each interview. I'm having trouble getting into it because I haven't really liked any of the narrators. Their acting just isn't hitting for me. I may be alone in this, but I'm not really enjoying it. I might DNF. Not sure.
The Dutch House. This was a second listen. It’s one of my favorites.

I’ve been dragging through Crowntide by Alex Aster. I genuinely don’t enjoy multiple POV, and I dislike the switching back and forth between a high pitched woman’s voice and a low pitched man’s. First world problems, you know? No fault of the narrators, btw. Just a girl who read three 1st POV books she loved and then got thrown into a throuple by the 4th and 5th.

Just finished Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver narrated by Charlie Thurston, it was pretty great to me! I related strongly with Demon except my adults got their shit figured out by my teenage years. I just started Double Dexter written and read by Jeff Lindsay. I read the Dexter the old fashioned way many years ago (before my own kids were born) so it's fun to re-read. These two books have been my break between Brandon Sanderson Stormlight series (Michael Kramer and Kate Reading) and The Expanse series (Jefferson Mays). I've been going back and forth between those two series for almost a year now. Recommendations I got from here!

Just finished I See You’ve Called In Dead by John Kennedy, narrated by Sean Patrick Hopkins, Libby. Loved it and the narrator. I’m 46% into The Gate of the Feral Gods (the only reason I have Audible). Next up from Libby is Ironwood by Michael Connelly, 2nd in Catalina series, narrated by Will Damron, Libby. I had Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett checked out but my brain balked at 29 hours, so I returned it and placed a new hold.
