you'll also get people saying it can't work, because it wont have enough range or charging time. They need to look on a map to see how close Buenos Aires is to Colonia del Sacramento in Uraguay.

I love seeing semi-submersible cargo ships do their thing. In case you don't know those structures you see at either end are at the fore and aft of the cargo ship, the deck runs between them. It takes on ballast to sink itself so the ferry can be loaded on, then releases the ballast to lift the whole thing back up out of the water. Just such a wild concept.
Thanks for the context - I was a bit curious of the specific structures in the pic, but it makes a lot more sense if they're part of a ship running underneath.

We’ve taken the Aus made electric ferries in Denmark between Copenhagen and Aarhus. They’re pretty cool! Fun seeing all the Aus certification on the Incat!
This shape of catermaran always reminds me of the stealth ship in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies.
