Surely you realize every piece of software is written by AI now. It doesn't make it "slop". This is a good tool, try it out. If you don't like it, don't use it.

Can I use it to get concerts within say 100 miles of where I live?
Right now, only by manually moving the map around. I could easily add the feature; only reason I haven't is sensitivity around requesting the user's location. But as an opt in thing, why not?

What is the data source?
2 types: the main sources are all the different websites of the orchestras, opera companies, etc. The other sources are historical: *anything* can be a source really, currently including Berlioz and Spohr's autobiographies and a few big open data sets (Carnegie, NY Phil, Wikimedia premieres data).
Seems like there is some flakiness so the old site is sometimes served instead of the new, global one. Apologies.
I love the site! It'll be useful to me as I travel a lot. If I may... my feature request: Filter for operas only.
It should indicate areas where data is either not yet incorporated or spotty. As is, it looks like the "global community" meme that just has US and Europe
