honestly the biellmann is way more shoulder mobility than leg, that part took me the longest to get. worth training the shoulder flexibility on its own for a bit. you look closer than you think tho
My long-term goal is to achieve a Biellmann position like the one in the second photo. The first photo is where I am now. What would you focus on first? You are way closer than you think, and with the skate on, you have a little bit more "leeway" (you don't have to be attached to your foot). From this picture, it looks like you're mostly missing some shoulder flexibility!
You look close! I agree with the other posture about working on shoulder mobility but I’m also thinking maybe back / upper glute strength will help you as you get into and hold the pose?
