My son is about to start his last year of high school and I want to plan an epic trip for next summer to celebrate. He was born with so many medical conditions, had so many surgeries, it was hard to know if he'd have a normal life. Now he's 17, top of his class, and surfs almost daily with me. He received a glowing medical update yesterday from his cardiologist. It's time to celebrate life.
I want to bring my wife on this trip, so we need a nice destination with solid waves. I'm looking to go broke, but I don't know how many more chances we'll have to do a trip like this.
