TIFU by flirting with an old situationship. It started when he replied to my story with advice and I told him I missed him. (I was intoxicated and I regret it) he replied like “haha missed u too [my name]” anyways I asked for a pic. He happily obliged and then I passed out. I woke up the next morning waited for a reply and nothing so… I did the stupidest thing and was like “Don’t u dare ghost me again I’m trynna flirt” [UGHHHH IM AN IDIOT I CRINGE MYSELF DONT WORRY] ANYWHO he replied saying he’s got a partner and then unfollowed me everywhere… I DIDNT KNOW AND NOW IM CRINGING HARD. I’m upset that I had an alright friendship with an old situationship come back and almost start being friends? But then IFU by not realising he had a partner. I really hope if she knows that she understands. I’m sorry dawg I would never wanna be a homewrecker or break apart a relationship. Plus knowing him she a baddie. IM SO EMBARRASSED 💀💀

The great thing about embarrassment is that you don’t have to feel it. It sucked but it’s over. Put that energy into your self esteem. Don’t feed into small bids for attention from a situationship. When a door closes with them keep it closed; they only want validation— to know that they could if they wanted to. You deserve better.
this seems innocent enough on your end, tbh, he didnt have to respond OR send you a photo, he likely only blocked you bc she found out. She deserves better either way
I feel like friendships where one person feels lust or romance and the other doesn't are not equal and don't work anyway. I don't think you really fucked up, you just didn't have all the information. Just move on to the next one!
