Seems like an EV is a slam-dunk YES for your situation. There are lots of options other than Tesla. I would think about the various options that would work for you. EVs tend to depreciate quickly, buying a 2 to 3 year old one might be a good choice.
Would the fuel savings, free workplace charging, home solar, and FSD make switching reasonable, or am I still better off repairing the Camry? I'd be financing the MY.
I think it makes a lot sense to switch for all the reasons you mentioned, especially if you qualify for Tesla's 0.99% promotional financing. Just make sure you get the premium trim as it is much nicer than the standard.
