For context, I live in a country with sexual orientation being almost unknown/taboo topic, (even though it's legal). My mother doesn't even know other orientations exist other than straight
the problem is my father recently started giving me "talk" as in how to handle marriage, children, what to do after my marriage when it happens, etc etc, implying that he's assuming I will get married (a fair assumption I guess considering almost everyone gets married here). I'm in my final year of college and I assume he's thinking of getting me into comfortable into adulthood that's why he's saying all this. I'm also assuming he wants grandchildren.
But I'm... who I am and I can't get married, especially can't reproduce. Nor that I want children at all, but that's a whole other conversation. should I tell them that now, so they won't anticipate much, all that about having no expecations stuff or should I wait after I get a job and am on my feet. I really don't think they'll kick me out but on the slight chance (I've read stories of american parents kicking out their children who have different orientation) they do I'll be fucked.
If I get a job I won't have to worry about getting kicked out. But it also feels wrong keeping their expecations when I know they won't be true
