Will this setup be good for high quality reef aquarium photos? And should I look into getting other gear?

I was thinking of purchasing a canon eos t7i with a Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Macro, to take close up photos of my reef aquarium. I will be photographing close up photos of corals and fish. I was also planning on setting up a project with it, where I will install and code some Arduino motion detectors and color sensors to try automatically take photos fish when they swim by, and group them into folders by identifying the fish via the color. Anyways will this be a decent setup for taking high quality photos? Thank you!
