It's short for "pass the controller if you're not gonna play." In other words, "if you don't want it, give it to me." It seems to be used in relation to lusting for women. https://www.reddit.com/r/PeterExplainsTheJoke/s/adTmKM41iZ
I keep seeing this in instagram comments

Please give me the controller
In a video game or computer game, only one or a few people can play at a time. If you have more people than there are "spots" in the game, people will take turns. Sometimes this is done nicely, sometimes not. Either way, "pass me the controller!" is slang for real-life stuff, it means something like "it's my turn!", "i want to be in control", or "watch this, I'm going to do something \[awesome, stupid, etc\].". Context will be important but hopefully this helps
Originally it means that you want someone who is playing a video game to hand you the controller to play, either because its your turn or because they are failing(which is the relevant use here) its been taken out of that context to mean basically if someone is failing at a task(particularly when being hit on or flirting etc) that the speaker wants to be put in their place Example: An attractive woman is flirting with a guy and he rejects her "If you arent going to play, then pass the controller" This means that the speaker wants to br in that situation because the woman is flirting and wants to be with her, but the subject did not do that
