I used to believe with the "Just lock in Reyna/Jett" and out aim everybody.
But now that I almost exclusively use Controllers I am finding myself winning more and actually holding sites better than Sentinels.
The cheesy smokes can actually mentally block people especially on my rank (gold/plat) them spraying mindlessly on a smoke while attacking the site is the funniest thing cause you know I'm gonna be in the side of that smoke waiting for them to push or rotate and waste their abilities or I will at least take down two enemies before I go down.
I really recommend it, especially with solo queue, wherein being a Sentinel is basically just not optimal since there are little to no communication.

wait so controllers actually work better in valorant now
chamber is also a great option for climbing. similar to controller, you're not expected to enter first, so you're not getting screwed over if your initiator is bad at setting up an entry, you can just follow your duelist out and trade. going mid and lurking for a pick with tp is also great. headhunter and tour de force make eco really simple.
Ngl, I tried chamber, but my aim isn't that crisp, so it's like a free orb when an enemy encounters me (without the tp) But I might say, Chamber with his util to holding flanks is pretty solid. One of my favourites for anti-flank.
Every game you play without smokes is damn near an instant loss.
