I’ve recently been getting back into reading and instead of getting into any of the most trendy books. I was curious to see if anyone had any recommendations for some older fantasy titles?

It depends what you mean by older. There are a lot of books from the 90's and 2000's even at this point that are far from 'trendy'. The Hobbit is a lot of fun, filled with humor, heart, great characters, adventure, rich world building, and an engaging story. Follow that up with Lord of the Rings. For something older, but not *quite* so old, check out The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, starting with The Eye of the World. Rich world building, adventure, a great cast of characters, and all kinds of interesting magics, and fantasy tropes done well. Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb is another really good one, on the more melancholy side of fantasy. It follows Fitz, the bastard son of a dead prince, who is raised to become the King's assassin. But between Tolkien and the end of the century is a TON of other good stuff, it just depends what you're looking for. Michael Moorcock, Glen Cook, Ursula K LeGuin, RA Salvatore, just to name a few you could check out. At this point even books like The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie are getting up there in years. Dark, gritty, funny, character driven fantasy, with some top tier audiobooks narrated by Steven Pacey, if you're in the mood for that!
I would also recommend the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb (of which assassin's apprentice is the first book). This trilogy is part of a bigger book series called Realm of the Elderlings.

The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey
Zelazny’s “Amber” series. The “Thieves World” anthology, edited by Robert Lynn Asprin and including stories by some of the best fantasy authors of the time. The “Fafrhd & Gray Mouser” stories by Fritz Lieber. “Conan” stories by Robert E Howard. Also his Kull and Solomon Kane tales. David Gemmell. Anything, really, but especially the Drenai series.
Katherine Kerr, The Deverry saga (Silverdagger) C.S Friedman (Black sun Trilogy) I like Raymond E. Feist, but he might feel a little dated, or so I have heard from friends. But in combination with *Daughter of the Empire by Jenny Wurst, is an unbeatable combo*
I'm ahuge fan of Raymond E. Feist, but I think even he thinks Janny Wurts trilogy are the best in his series. Amazing books.

The Broken Sword by Poul Anderson
Legend by David Gemmel(and the rest of the series) Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings(starts the Belgariad storyline)
Anything by Patricia A. McKillip is excellent.
