  Poor land management really. Those farms historically survived in that location They voted against their interests for those who deny climate change and land conservation. Both things that essentially will decimate agriculture

  There's a whole county like that in Tennessee. In 40 years, they went from about 12k residents to about 6k. The county is now having difficulty paying for everything in cooperation with the 2 incorporated towns. The county will probably dissolve in about a decade. The county is wanting the 2 incorporated towns to give up their charters but the county says that is a short term solution.
